READING SOME VERSES IN THE BIBLE:
Deuteronomy
13:1-11
Worshiping
Other Gods
1 [a]If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams,
appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder,
2 and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place,
and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and
let us worship them,”
3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet
or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him
with all your heart and with all your soul.
4 It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him
you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to
him.
5 That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting
rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed
you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you from
the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from
among you.
6 If your very own brother, or your son or
daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you,
saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your
ancestors have known,
7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or
far, from one end of the land to the other),
8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them
no pity. Do not spare them or shield them.
9 You must certainly put them to death. Your hand
must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the
people.
10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn
you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land
of slavery.
11 Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no
one among you will do such an evil thing again.
mo nakikilala, at ating paglingkuran sila;
nakilala, ninyo o ng iyong mga magulang;
kabilang dulo ng lupa;
8 Ay huwag mong papayagan siya ni didinggin siya;
Deuteronomy
16:21-22
Worshiping
Other Gods
21 Do not set up any wooden Asherah pole beside the
altar you build to the Lord your God, 22 and do not erect a sacred stone, for
these the Lord your God hates.
Psalm
145:1-8, 17-21
1 I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will
praise your name for ever and ever.
2 Every day I will praise you
and extol
your name for ever and ever.
3 Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his
greatness no one can fathom.
4 One generation commends your works to another;
they tell
of your mighty acts.
5 They speak of the glorious splendor of your
majesty—
and I
will meditate on your wonderful works.[b]
6 They tell of the power of your awesome works—
and I
will proclaim your great deeds.
7 They celebrate your abundant goodness
and
joyfully sing of your righteousness.
8 The Lord is gracious and compassionate,
slow to
anger and rich in love.
1 Ibubunyi kita, Dios ko, Oh Hari; at aking
pupurihin ang pangalan mo magpakailan-kailan pa man.
2 Araw-araw ay pupurihin kita; at aking pupurihin
ang pangalan mo magpakailan-kailan pa man.
17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and
faithful in all he does.
18 The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all
who call on him in truth.
19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear him;
he hears
their cry and saves them.
20 The Lord watches over all who love him,
but all
the wicked he will destroy.
21 My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord.
Let every
creature praise his holy name
for ever
and ever.
magpakailan-kailan pa man.

HEALING PRAYER – (Teddy A. Suarez)
Almighty Father please forgive me of all my sins
and for all the things that I have done wrong in my life. Please forgive me.
Guide me in the right path and change my life to be a better person.
Almighty Father I call on you now in a special way.
It is through your mighty power, protection and love that I was created.
Almighty Father I ask You now to touch my body with
your mighty healing power to cure any disease and remove them out in my body,
like cancer, diabetic, stroke, heart attack, vertigo, leptospirosis,
tuberculosis, malaria, asthma, HIV or AIDS and keep me away from dengue, zika virus, Japanese encephalitis
and other diseases and at the same time
heal the disease in my body. Because today and at present, it is too expensive
to go in a hospital, especially if you don’t have the money to pay the bill.
This is why I am asking you Almighty Father to have mercy, pity and compassion
to me to cure and heal my disease instantly. In Jesus name. I believe you are
the great healer and the best doctor to cure and heal any diseases in my body.
Because you are the creator and the giver of life.
Almighty Father cast out anything that should not
be in my body. Fix and mend what is broken in my body. Root out and eradicate
any unproductive cells in my body and make all the cells in my body free from
any cancer.
Almighty Father touch my eyes and make my vision
clearer. Keep them always on a 20-20 vision. In Jesus name.
Almighty Father open any blocked arteries and vein
and dissolve any blood clot that prevent the flow and circulation of my blood
in my arteries and vein and make the blood in my arteries and vein circulate
and flow smoothly. Make my heart always healthy. In Jesus name.
Almighty Father remove all inflammation and cleanse
any infection in my whole body and make my body free from any diseases.
Almighty Father let Your mighty healing power pass
through my body to make new any unhealthy areas in my body and rebuild any
damage areas on any parts of my body. So that my body will function properly
the way You created it to function.
Almighty Father restore my body with my mind and my
heart in best health and in good condition. So that I may serve you often for
the rest of my life. In Jesus name. To God be the glory, Hallelujah. Amen.
Luke
11:1-4
1 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place.
When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his
disciples.”
2 He said to them, “When you pray, say: “‘Father,[a] hallowed be your name, your
kingdom come.[b]
3 Give us each day our daily bread.
4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone
who sins against us.[c] And lead us not into temptation.[d]’”
Acts
17:22-31
22 Paul then stood up in the meeting of the
Areopagus and said: “People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious.
23 For as I walked around and looked carefully at
your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this
inscription: to an unknown god. So you are ignorant of the very thing you
worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you.
24 “The God who made the world and
everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples
built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if
he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and
everything else. 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should
inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times
in history and the boundaries of their lands.
27 God did this so that they would seek him and
perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of
us.
28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our
being.’[b] As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’[c]
29 “Therefore since we are God’s offspring,
we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an
image made by human design and skill.
30 In the past God overlooked such
ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
31 For he
has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has
appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the
dead.”
Matthew
6:6
6 But when
you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is
unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Matthew
22:36-40
The
Greatest Commandment
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in
the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with
all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[c]
38 This is the first and greatest
commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as
yourself.’[d]
40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Matthew
23:8-12
8 “But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you
have one Teacher, and you are all brothers.
9 And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you
have one Father, and he is in heaven.
10 Nor are you to be called instructors, for you
have one Instructor, the Messiah.
11 The greatest among you will be your servant.
12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled,
and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
Exodus
20:1-6
The
Ten Commandments
1 And God spoke all these words:
2 “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of
Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
3 “You shall have no other gods before[a]
me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself an image
in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the
waters below.
5 You shall not bow down to them or worship
them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for
the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
6 but showing love to a thousand generations of
those who love me and keep my commandments.
Romans
1:21-25
21 For although they knew God, they neither
glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile
and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became
fools
23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal
God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and
reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful
desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies
with one another.
25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie,
and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever
praised. Amen.
Exodus
23:24-26
24 Do not bow down before their gods or
worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their
sacred stones to pieces.
25 Worship the Lord your God, and his
blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among
you,
26 and none will miscarry or be barren in
your land. I will give you a full life span.

EXODO
23:24-26
pinakaalaala.
25 At inyong paglilingkuran ang Panginoon
ninyong Dios, at kaniyang babasbasan ang iyong tinapay at ang iyong tubig; at
aking aalisin ang sakit sa gitna mo.
26 Walang babaing makukunan, o magiging baog

Instructions
for Christian Households
18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is
fitting in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh
with them.
20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for
this pleases the Lord.
21 Fathers,[c] do not embitter your children, or
they will become discouraged.
22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything;
and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with
sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.
23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart,
as working for the Lord, not for human masters,
24 since you know that you will receive an
inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for
their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.
Ephesians
6:1-9
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord,
for this is right.
2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is
the first commandment with a promise—
3 “so that it may go well with you and that you may
enjoy long life on the earth.”
4 Fathers, do not exasperate your children;
instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect
and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.
6 Obey them not only to win their favor when their
eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.
7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the
Lord, not people,
8 because you know that the Lord will reward each
one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.
9 And masters, treat your slaves in the same way.
Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours
is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.
Matthew
23:9
9 And do not call anyone on earth
‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.
Exodus
15:26
26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord
your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands
and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought
on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”
Exodus
23:13, 24-26, 32-33
13 “Be careful to do everything I have said to you.
Do not invoke the names of other gods; do not let them be heard on your lips.
24 Do not bow down before their gods or
worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred
stones to pieces.
25 Worship the Lord your God, and his
blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among
you,
26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your
land. I will give you a full life span.
32 Do not make a covenant with them or with their
gods.
33 Do not let them live in your land or they will
cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly
be a snare to you.”
Joshua
24:14-15, 19-24
14 “Now fear the Lord and serve him with all
faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates
River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord.
15 But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to
you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods
your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in
whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the
Lord.”
19 Joshua said to the people, “You are not able to
serve the Lord. He is a holy God; he is a jealous God. He will not forgive your
rebellion and your sins.
20 If you forsake the Lord and serve foreign gods,
he will turn and bring disaster on you and make an end of you, after he has
been good to you.”
21 But the people said to Joshua, “No! We will
serve the Lord.”
22 Then Joshua said, “You are witnesses against
yourselves that you have chosen to serve the Lord.” “Yes, we are witnesses,” they replied.
23 “Now then,” said Joshua, “throw away the foreign
gods that are among you and yield your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
24 And the people said to Joshua, “We will serve
the Lord our God and obey him.”
Joshua
23:16
16 If you violate the covenant of the Lord your
God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them,
the Lord’s anger will burn against you, and you will quickly perish from the
good land he has given you.”
JOSUE
23:16
inyo.

Worshiping
Other Gods
1[a] If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams,
appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder,
2 and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place,
and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and
let us worship them,”
3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet
or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him
with all your heart and with all your soul.
4 It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him
you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to
him.
5 That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for
inciting rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and
redeemed you from the land of slavery.
Matthew
10:26, 32-33, 37-39
26 “So do not be afraid of them, for there is
nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made
known.
32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will
also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.
33 But whoever disowns me before others, I will
disown before my Father in heaven.
37 “Anyone who loves their father or mother more
than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than
me is not worthy of me.
38 Whoever does not take up their cross and follow
me is not worthy of me.
39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and
whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
Deuteronomy
8:19-20
Do
Not Forget the LORD
19 If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow
other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that
you will surely be destroyed.
20 Like the nations the LORD destroyed before you,
so you will be destroyed for not obeying the LORD your God.
1
Timothy 6-10; 17-19
6 But godliness with contentment is great
gain.
7 For we brought nothing into the world,
and we can take nothing out of it.
8 But if we have food and clothing, we will
be content with that.
9 Those who want to get rich fall into
temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge
people into ruin and destruction.
10 For the love of money is a root of all
kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and
pierced themselves with many griefs.
17 Command those who are rich in this present world
not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but
to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good
deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.
19 In this way they will lay up treasure for
themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold
of the life that is truly life.
Deuteronomy
4:15-31
Idolatry
Forbidden
15 You saw no form of any kind the day the Lord spoke
to you at Horeb out of the fire. Therefore watch yourselves very carefully,
16 so that you do not become corrupt and make for
yourselves an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a
woman,
17 or like any animal on earth or any bird that
flies in the air,
18 or like any creature that moves along the ground
or any fish in the waters below.
19 And when you look up to the sky and see the sun,
the moon and the stars—all the heavenly array—do not be enticed into bowing
down to them and worshiping things the Lord your God has apportioned to all the
nations under heaven.
20 But as for you, the Lord took you and brought
you out of the iron-smelting furnace, out of Egypt, to be the people of his
inheritance, as you now are.
21 The Lord was angry with me because of you, and
he solemnly swore that I would not cross the Jordan and enter the good land the
Lord your God is giving you as your inheritance.
22 I will die in this land; I will not cross the
Jordan; but you are about to cross over and take possession of that good land.
23 Be careful not to forget the covenant of the
Lord your God that he made with you; do not make for yourselves an idol in the
form of anything the Lord your God has forbidden.
24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a
jealous God.
25 After you have had children and grandchildren
and have lived in the land a long time—if you then become corrupt and make any
kind of idol, doing evil in the eyes of the Lord your God and arousing his
anger, 26 I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you this day
that you will quickly perish from the land that you are crossing the Jordan to
possess. You will not live there long but will certainly be destroyed.
27 The Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and
only a few of you will survive among the nations to which the Lord will drive
you.
28 There you will worship man-made gods of wood and
stone, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell.
29 But if from there you seek the Lord your God,
you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
30 When you are in distress and all these things
have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the Lord your God
and obey him.
31 For the Lord your God is a merciful God; he will
not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he
confirmed to them by oath.

Various
Laws
1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 “Speak to the entire assembly of Israel and say
to them: ‘Be holy because I, the LORD your God, am holy.
3 “‘Each of you must respect your mother
and father, and you must observe my Sabbaths. I am the LORD your God.
4 “‘Do not turn to idols or make metal gods
for yourselves. I am the LORD your God.
Deuteronomy
5:1-32
The
Ten Commandments
1 Moses summoned all Israel and said:
Hear, Israel, the decrees and laws I declare in
your hearing today. Learn them and be sure to follow them.
2 The Lord our God made a covenant with us at
Horeb.
3 It was not with our ancestors[a] that the Lord
made this covenant, but with us, with all of us who are alive here today.
4 The Lord spoke to you face to face out of the
fire on the mountain.
5 (At that time I stood between the Lord and you to
declare to you the word of the Lord, because you were afraid of the fire and
did not go up the mountain.) And he said:
6 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of
Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
7 “You shall have no other gods before[b]
me.
8 “You shall not make for yourself an image
in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the
waters below.
9
You shall not bow down to them or
worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the
children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those
who hate me,
10
but showing love to a thousand
generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
Leviticus
23:3
The
Sabbath
3 “‘There are six days when you may work, but the
seventh day is a day of sabbath rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to
do any work; wherever you live, it is a sabbath to the LORD.
Malachi
3:6-12
Breaking
Covenant by Withholding Tithes
6 “I the Lord do not change. So you, the
descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.
7 Ever since the time of your ancestors you have
turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will
return to you,” says the Lord Almighty.
“But you ask, ‘How are we to return?’
8 “Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me.
“But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’
“In tithes and offerings.
9 You are
under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me.
10 Bring the
whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in
this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates
of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to
store it.
11 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops,
and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says
the Lord Almighty.
12 “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for
yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty.

MALAKIAS
3:6-12
(Yes, it is GOD who moves mountains, but it is
prayer that moves GOD! Prayer is so powerful that it moves the heart of GOD,
and only GOD can move those mountains that you face today.)

PROTECTION PRAYER – PSALM-91:1-16
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my
fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
3 Surely he will save me from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover me with his feathers, and under his
wings I will find refuge; his faithfulness will be my shield and rampart.
5 I will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow
that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the
darkness, nor the plague that destroys
at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at
my right hand, but it will not come near me.
8 I will only observe with my eyes and see the
punishment of the wicked.
9 If I say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and I make the
Most High my dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake me, no disaster will come
near my tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning me to
guard me in all my ways;
12 they will lift me up in their hands, so that I
will not strike my foot against a stone.
13 I will tread on the lion and the cobra; I will
trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “He will
rescue me; He will protect me, for I acknowledges His name.
15 I will call on Him, and He will answer me; He
will be with me in trouble, He will deliver me and honor me.
16 With long life He will satisfy me and show me
His salvation.” Amen.
